My House in the Burbs
Below are some views of the Living Room where most of the activity takes place, starting with how it looks before visitors are expected.
The living room is 15 by 15 feet; this first view starts at one corner, the dining room entrance, and moves to the right.
Adjacent scene.
Continuing around. (On the flat screen: Alison Krauss at ACL some years back.)
A Little further.
Second half of the front.
Almost full circle.
The other half of the dining room entrance.
Play area.
The rug fills up when the kids are coming.
Three dolls.
Six Castles.
The castles have lots of parts.
Castle Closeup.
Inside the Doll House.
Zooming in.
Some mean looking creatures.
While these creatures were likely designed with boys in mind, the girls quickly had the muscle robot dancing with the dolls, and they have no problem slamming that remote-controlled Porsche, at full speed, into the tyrannosaurus, small trash can or anything else that happens to be vertical.
And there's music.
Brunch happens.
Some favorite things.
One of my granddaughters' pet mice.
Christmas 2010.
Closer.
Closest Christmas 2010.
'That’s all folks'; thanks for coming; hope you enjoyed; best regards.
My thanks to Ian Lloyd for enabling me to learn enough about building web sites to have designed this, “My House in the Burbs,” using his excellent book: “Build Your Own Web Site the Right Way Using HTML & CSS.” A tedious but rewarding task.
